Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable main dealership in Birmingham, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their expanding service team. Diagnosing vehicle faults utilizing the latest manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment
Conducting mechanical and electrical repairs to the highest standards
Supporting junior Vehicle technicians and apprentices through mentoring and guidance
Communicating with technical support and service advisors
Performing road tests to ensure repair quality and customer satisfaction
Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and health checks efficiently
Advising customers on additional repairs and providing technical feedback as appropriateRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Proven experience in a dealership or independent workshop environment
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
Full UK driving licence is essential
MOT testing accreditation is highly desirable
