Location: Long Sutton (North of Peterborough)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established site in Long Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with a competitive salary and excellent work-life balance.
The Role:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a busy site, ensuring all electrical systems and equipment are operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in a timely manner.
• Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise plant performance and reliability.
• Work closely with the wider engineering and operational teams.
Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Previous experience within a maintenance or engineering environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and controls.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
