Welwyn Garden City
£35,000 - £45,000
Are you a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, Project Controller or Planner with an electronic engineering qualification, looking to take your next step within a world-class engineering environment? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Electronics Engineering team where project coordination and planning sit at the heart of everything they do.
Working closely with senior Project Managers, you'll play a key role in keeping complex projects on track — owning the planning, controls and coordination activity that ensures delivery to time, cost and quality. This isn't a back-seat support role; you'll be actively managing schedules, tracking progress and driving accountability across the project team.
What you'll be doing:
* Leading project coordination and planning activity across the full project lifecycle
* Building and maintaining project schedules
* Monitoring project controls metrics and supporting reporting to senior stakeholders
* Supporting bid management and supply chain coordination
* Working alongside experienced PMs to develop your project management capability
What you'll need:
* A technical degree, ideally in Electronics or a related discipline
* Hands-on experience in project coordination, planning or controls — ideally within an engineering environment
* Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with project data
* An understanding of electronic engineering product development is advantageous
If you have a controls or planning mindset and want to apply it in one of the most technically challenging sectors around, we'd love to hear from you
