Production Engineer

Permanent role with starting salary of £28,000

Our client based in Woking are seeking a Production Engineer to play a key role in developing innovative products for the business. The successful candidate will be involved in the complete product development lifecycle, ensuring products meet high-quality standards and align with customer and market requirements.

Duties and responsibilities:

Create 2D and 3D CAD models for new products
Use 3D printing for prototyping to validate and refine designs.
Produce manufacturing drawings and create products on the system
Work closely with teams across the business including manufacturing, marketing, and compliance
Working towards project deadlines
Liaise with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
Work with marketing to establish unique selling points and benefits for each product.
Redesign existing products to enhance performance and ensure compliance
Implement cost-effective solutions while maintaining product quality
Produce technical data sheets, manufacturing drawings and design documentation

Requirements:

Relevant degree in Engineering, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering or similar
Strong written English skills
Experience in a manufacturing role would be advantageous
CAD software experience would be ideal
Strong problem-solving skills
