Job Role of the Safety, Health & Environment Manager
Are you a passionate Health & Safety professional looking to make a real impact within a growing manufacturing business?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company that is currently undergoing significant investment and expansion. As the Safety, Health & Environment Manager, you will play a key role in developing site-wide SHE culture, driving compliance and supporting the business through an exciting period of growth.
Working closely with site leadership, the Safety, Health & Environment Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation whilst driving behavioural change, continuous improvement and best practice across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements for the Safety, Health & Environment Manager
NEBOSH Health & Safety Qualification (or equivalent)
Previous Health & Safety experience within a Manufacturing, FMCG or Industrial environment
Experience developing and improving SHE culture
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Ability to drive compliance and behavioural change across site
Essential Requirements for the Safety, Health & Environment Manager
Experience developing and implementing SHE policies and procedures
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
Experience conducting audits, risk assessments and investigations
Ability to provide coaching, training and guidance at all levels
Environmental awareness and sustainability focus
Strong communication and leadership skills
Requirements of the Safety, Health & Environment Manager
Lead the development and implementation of site SHE strategy
Drive a positive Health, Safety and Environmental culture
Ensure compliance with current legislation and company standards
Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and investigations
Provide SHE support, leadership and guidance to site management teams
Deliver training, coaching and awareness programmes
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Support sustainability, energy reduction and environmental initiatives
Develop action plans and monitor SHE performance
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Desirable Requirements for the Safety, Health & Environment Manager
ISO 45001 experience
ISO 14001 experience
Food Manufacturing or FMCG experience
Environmental qualification
Sustainability and energy reduction project experience
Continuous Improvement experience
