An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking team within a London-based local authority setting. This permanent role is ideal for a qualified teacher with a strong background in supporting pupils with special educational needs.
The Role
* Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEN/SEND
* Support students with a variety of needs including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
* Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Monitor, assess and report on student progress
* Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
* Promote an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment
Requirements
* QTS and/or PGCE (essential)
* Proven SEN/SEND experience
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
* Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (essential)
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet a range of learning needs
Desirable
* Experience in specialist or mainstream SEN settings
* Knowledge of EHCP processes
