The Role
- As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be instrumental in the setup and ongoing success of the new facility. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the construction and development of the manufacturing site
- Assisting with machinery layout and site planning
- Installing, commissioning, and optimising new production equipment
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and engineering standards
- Diagnosing and resolving both electrical and mechanical faults
- Working on a range of machinery including conveyors, packaging equipment, slicers, weighers, and associated production systems
- Collaborating closely with operators, management, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers
- About You
- We're looking for a proactive engineer who enjoys a hands-on environment and thrives on new challenges.
- Essential:
- Recognised engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled)
- Experience installing and commissioning manufacturing machinery
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Desirable:
- Experience supporting the launch of a new manufacturing facility or production line
- Multi-skilled engineering background
