Edvance Education is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Slough.
We are looking for a passionate, caring and reliable SEND teaching assistant who want to support children with special educational needs in a rewarding school environment.
SEND Teaching Assistant – The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEND), including:
* Autism (ASC)
* SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
* ADHD
* Speech and Language Needs
* Moderate & Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD)
The role of a SEND Teaching Assistant includes:
* 1:1 SEND support
* Small group intervention
* Classroom-based SEN support
* Support in specialist SEND settings
SEND Teaching Assistant – Requirements
* Experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role
* Experience working with children with SEND, Autism, SEMH, or additional needs
* A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
* Right to work in the UK
Safeguarding & Compliance
All SEND Teaching Assistant applicants will be required to complete:
* An Enhanced DBS check (including barred list where applicable)
* Two professional references
* Right to Work checks
