About the role

Title – Vetting Co-ordinator

Pay Rate – £15 per hour

Location – Northampton

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Vetting Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Vetting Team

Accurately input and maintain data in line with internal processes

Coordinate reference checks and manage communication with referees and applicants

Interpret and follow vetting procedures to ensure compliance with company standards

Draft professional correspondence and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Liaise with other departments and external partners as required

Ensure all documentation and data handling complies with confidentiality and data protection regulations

Key Skills & Attributes:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems

Well-organised, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Professional, reliable, and demonstrates integrity and sound judgement

Desirable (Not Essential):

Previous experience in a vetting or background screening role

Knowledge of DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) processes
