Salary: £50,000
Employer: Leading UK Facilities Management Provider

Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme) Engineer to join a large UK Facilities Management organisation, supporting a key public sector contract in North West London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a critical and highly regulated environment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of boiler plant and steam systems across a large estate.

You will play a vital role in maintaining compliance, safety, and operational reliability of all boiler and pressure systems, supporting essential public services across the site.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and monitoring of boiler plant, steam systems, and associated mechanical services. This will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, inspections, and statutory compliance checks in line with BOAS standards and site procedures.

You will ensure all boiler operations are conducted safely and efficiently, maintaining optimal performance and minimising downtime across critical systems. Fault diagnosis, system optimisation, and energy efficiency improvements will also form a key part of the role.

Working as part of a multi-skilled FM team, you will support wider mechanical maintenance activities when required, ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety legislation, statutory regulations, and site compliance requirements.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, logs, and compliance documentation, supporting audits and ensuring full adherence to BOAS and regulatory standards.

About You
The ideal candidate will hold BOAS certification and have proven experience working with boiler plant and steam systems within facilities management, building services, or a similar critical environment.

You will have strong technical knowledge of mechanical and steam systems, excellent fault-finding skills, and a strong understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements.

A proactive, safety-conscious approach is essential, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team in a busy public sector environment.

What We Offer
- £50,000 salary
- Opportunity to work on a key public sector contract in North West London
- Stable, long-term role within a leading UK FM organisation
- Exposure to critical boiler and steam systems
- Strong career development and technical progression opportunities
