JOB DESCRIPTION

The Guinness Partnership has a new opportunity for a Housing Assistant to join our team in West London on a 12-month fixed term contract. This position is also open to job share proposals; therefore we also invite applications from individuals seeking part‑time hours.

As a Housing Assistant, you will assist with the delivery of the Customer Liaison Service, by providing administrative support and resident query management across the function to achieve positive outcomes for Guinness and our residents. This is the first step on our career pathway for housing professionals.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to data input, customer data information management, raising repairs, system updates, raising purchase orders and answering routine resident enquiries and making routine outbound calls to residents.

This is an agile, field-based role. While you will be based at the London office, much of your time will be spent on your patch, engaging with residents and supporting service delivery across West London.

We are a customer-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will bring strong customer service skills and a real willingness to go the extra mile, while developing your expertise as you begin your journey on our housing career pathway.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

Experience of providing excellent customer service.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced front-line role.
Experience working to deadlines and targets.
Ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
Proven ability to provide accurate and clear responses to routine customer enquiries - by telephone, email, text and in writing.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel

Essential qualifications:

Educated to Level 2 (C+ or 9-4 GCSE or equivalent) or higher

Desirable qualifications:

CIH Level 3 or working towards.
