A great opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our business. Based from our office on the Chester Business Park the Paralegal will offer support to the wider legal team assisting with legal issues that arise day to day offering assistance to ensure a successful resolution.
The role:
This role will offer the post holder exposure to many different areas of the legal team as the Paralegal will supporting the Legal Director with contract procurement for all PBSA and BTR schemes within the business as well as offering support to the Company Secretary in ensuring the Group stays compliant with relevant corporate law and corporate governance requirements. The Paralegal will also be responsible for providing legal support on the Group’s acquisition / disposal transactions, planning, litigation proceedings, and financing matters and will be tasked with conducting legal research and advising on legal and compliance matters and changes in legislation of relevance to the Group’s businesses and operations.
About you
Ideally, you’ll have a qualification in Law and can offer previous experience in a similar role. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate accuracy, with strong organisational skills and the ability to complete tasks with competing deadlines in a professional manner. It’s important you have legal research skills and have experience of drafting legal documentation.
