School Receptionist - Secondary School

Location: Northumberland
Pay Rate: £100 - £110 per day
Contract: Part-Time (3 Days per Week)
Start Date: September 2026
Duration: Maternity Cover

PK Education are currently recruiting for an experienced School Receptionist to work within a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Northumberland.

This part-time maternity cover position is due to start in September and would suit a candidate with previous school administration or reception experience who is looking for a rewarding role within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
Managing incoming calls and enquiries
Maintaining accurate pupil and visitor records
Supporting the school office with general administrative duties
Ensuring safeguarding and visitor procedures are followed at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous school administration or reception experience
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A professional and friendly manner
Strong IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office
Knowledge of school systems would be advantageous
