Academics is recruiting on behalf of a supportive college in the Stoke-on-Trent area of Staffordshire, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Social Sciences Teacher on a full-time, fixed-term basis. The role will start in September and initially run until October half-term, with the potential for extension.

Social Sciences Teacher - Role Information:

Plan and deliver engaging Social Sciences lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Engage, motivate, and challenge students

Social Sciences Teacher - Applicant Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in Social Sciences
Recent experience teaching Social Sciences at KS3-KS5
Strong subject knowledge with a specialism in Psychology, Sociology, or both
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A proactive, reliable, and professional approach
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
