Our client, a specialised independent garage based in Brands Hatch, Kent, is seeking a highly skilled Classic Car Technician & MOT Tester to join their dedicated team. This is a unique role offering the chance to work with historic, high-value vehicles such as Lotus, Triumphs, and Caterhams within a supportive, quality-focused environment. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing on all makes and models, emphasising classic cars
Conduct MOT inspections within a dedicated MOT bay
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools
Assist with restoration projects, crash repairs, and preparation for motorsport
Interact directly with customers for booking, invoicing, and discussing repairs
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
Contribute to specialised tasks such as metal work and restoration componentsRequirements of a Classic Car Technician & MOT Tester:

Proven experience as a Classic Car Technician & MOT Tester or similar role
Confidence working with historic and high-value vehicles, including Lotus, Triumphs, and Caterhams
Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with customers
Full UK driving licence with a clean record
Enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to develop further skills within a specialised industry
Experience with diagnostics, general maintenance, and MOT testing is essential
