Commercial Contracts Manager

We are delighted to be partnering with Dacorum Borough Council who are looking for a Commercial Contract Manager to join their team.

As a Commercial Contract Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial and operational performance of the external contractors on the repairs and maintenance service, leading a team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective and compliant services to residents. This is a remote role with expectations to be in the office only on a few occasions a month.

What’s on offer:
Salary: £50-55,000 per annum

Working pattern: Full-time, Permanent, Remote Working

Leading the commercial function across responsive repairs and maintenance services
Overseeing compliance aspects including gas, electric and health and safety
Overseeing budgets, cost control and financial forecasting to ensure value for money
Managing contractor relationships, procurement activities and performance frameworks
Ensuring compliance with housing legislation, health & safety standards and regulatory requirements
Identifying opportunities for service improvement, efficiency savings and innovation
Collaborating with internal teams to enhance service delivery and resident satisfactionThe successful Commercial Contract Manager will have:

Strong experience in a Commercial Contract Manager role within social housing, repairs or maintenance and compliance
Proven ability to manage external teams and drive performance in a fast-paced environment
Solid financial and commercial acumen, including budget management and cost control
Experience in contractor management and procurement processes
Good understanding of compliance, health & safety and regulatory standards
