Role: Commercial Manager (Contracts)

Job Type: Hybrid, Perm

The Role

Lead the full lifecycle of complex commercial contracts from bid strategy and negotiation through to delivery and close-out. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, drive successful bids, manage contract performance, and ensure compliance across defence programmes.

Key Responsibilities

* Own the route-to-contract: bidding, pricing strategy, proposals, and negotiations

* Manage and optimise contracts through delivery and closure

* Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities

* Act as the commercial lead with customers and internal teams

* Ensure compliance with defence regulations and governance

* Provide reporting and insights to senior leadership

What We’re Looking For

* Proven commercial/contract management experience

* Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills

* Ability to manage multiple complex contracts

* Leadership experience and strong stakeholder engagement

* Experience working in a highly regulated/high complexity environment
