Maths Supply Teacher (QTS Required) – Job Description
* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience desirable.
* Follow school schemes of work and lesson plans, adapting where necessary to meet students' needs.
* Maintain continuity of learning during staff absence.
* Assess student understanding and provide feedback where required.
* Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and implement the school's behaviour policy consistently.
* Create a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
* Build positive relationships with students, staff, and school leaders.
* Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom environments.
* Complete registers, handovers, and any required lesson feedback for the school.
* Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures and report concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – mandatory.
* Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve their potential
