Academics Ltd is delighted to be working in partnership with a thriving and inclusive primary school in Westminster, which is looking to appoint several enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) from March 2026.
Role Details
Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Westminster
Start Date: March 2026
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Duration: Long-term opportunities
Pay: £95-£97 per day (depending on experience)
Year Groups: EYFS, KS1, and KS2As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide high-quality support to pupils within the classroom. You will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all children are supported to achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals.
Responsibilities may include:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils who require additional assistance
Supporting children with SEN, learning difficulties, and additional needs
Assisting pupils in accessing learning activities and the wider curriculum
Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging engagement in lessonsThe Ideal Candidate
Experienced Learning Support Assistants
Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants or Early Years Practitioners
Recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in education
Individuals with experience working with children in schools, nurseries, childcare settings, or youth work environment
