🕒 4 on 4 off Nights | 6pm – 6am | Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Shift Production Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business in South Wales.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Manager, Shift Manager or Operations Manager looking to take ownership of a busy night shift operation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You'll be responsible for leading production teams, driving performance, ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency across the shift.

The Role:

* Leading and developing production teams to deliver operational targets

* Driving performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery and people metrics

* Ensuring production plans are achieved while maintaining product quality standards

* Managing labour, productivity and resource allocation across the shift

* Working closely with Technical, Engineering, Planning and Warehouse teams

* Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste

* Monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions where required

* Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety and company procedures

* Supporting the development and progression of team leaders and operators

What We're Looking For:

* Previous experience in a Production Manager, Shift Manager or Operations leadership role

* Strong background within food manufacturing or FMCG environments

* Proven experience managing large teams within a fast-paced production setting

* Strong people management and leadership skills

* A hands-on approach with the ability to make decisions and solve problems quickly

* Experience driving continuous improvement and operational performance

* Knowledge of food safety, quality standards and health & safety requirements
