Electrical Shift Technician
Location: City of London
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Overtime + Benefits

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Shift Technician to join a prestigious commercial building maintenance team in the City of London. Working as part of a professional engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining critical building services systems, ensuring all electrical equipment operates safely and efficiently within a high-profile commercial environment.

Shift Pattern:

* Continental Shift Pattern

* Days & Nights Rotation

* 7:00am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am

* Repeat rotating pattern

* Overtime available

Key Responsibilities:

* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and plant equipment.

* Reactive maintenance and fault finding across building services systems.

* Carry out electrical repairs and installations when required.

* Monitor and maintain critical systems to ensure maximum uptime.

* Complete maintenance documentation and reports accurately.

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.

* Support mechanical and building services operations where required.

* Participate in emergency call-out and incident response procedures.

Requirements:

* City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

* Experience working within commercial buildings, critical environments, data centres, banking, or high-end corporate facilities.

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

* Knowledge of building services systems and electrical infrastructure.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
