This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker or Teaching Assistant looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting students within the classroom and during intervention sessions.
• Building positive and trusting relationships with young people.
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
• Supporting students with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges.
• Assisting with personalised learning programmes and pastoral support.
• Working closely with teaching staff, families and external agencies.
• Supporting attendance, engagement and well-being initiatives.

• PRUs (Pupil Referral Units)
• SEND Settings
• Youth Work
• Behaviour Support
• Children's Residential Care
• Inclusion and Pastoral Support

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, behavioural or additional needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Resilient, calm and adaptable approach.
• Ability to manage challenging situations positively and professionally.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Desirable

• Team Teach, MAPA or equivalent behaviour management training.
• Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant support qualification.
• Experience of trauma-informed practice and restorative approaches.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and multi-agency working.

Why Apply?

• Join a supportive and forward-thinking specialist education setting.
• Be part of a team dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable young people.
• Access ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.
• Work within a values-driven organisation committed to inclusion and opportunity for all.
• Make a meaningful impact every single day.
