The Opportunity
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an HVAC Site Engineer to support delivery on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of nuclear new build, ensuring effective coordination between design, engineering, and site teams.

This role would suit candidates working in these roles
HVAC Engineer, Mechanical Site Engineer, Building Services Engineer, MEH Engineer, Construction Engineer, Mechanical Project Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Design Interface Engineer, Site Installation Engineer, or HVAC Project Engineer.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Act as the key liaison between engineering design teams and on-site construction teams to ensure smooth HVAC installation delivery
Support early-stage installation activities through to testing and commissioning, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and drawings
Review and assess site-raised technical documentation such as change requests and non-conformance reports for clarity, completeness, and suitability of proposed solutions
Work closely with construction teams to identify recurring issues and proactively suggest mitigation strategies
Facilitate knowledge transfer from design and manufacturing teams to site personnel to improve installation efficiency and qualityYou will have the following qualifications and experience
Demonstrable experience working with HVAC systems within nuclear or other highly regulated, complex engineering environments
Strong understanding of site installation processes, including managing technical queries and change control documentation
Ability to deliver engineering activities safely, on time, and to the required quality standards in fast-paced project settings
Proven capability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders across engineering and construction teams
Commercial awareness with an understanding of contractual frameworks and site-based delivery challengesGet in touch now
