As a CNC Turner, you will benefit from:
Structured training on Mazak and Fanuc turning controls
Support developing your programming, setting and operating skills
A well-organised, stable workshop environment
Varied and interesting turning work
Autonomy once fully competent
Long-term progression within precision engineering
Holiday allowance of 20 days plus bank holidays, increasing with service
Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00
As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:
Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to required tolerances
Editing Mazak and Fanuc programs as required
Completing first-off checks and inspecting your own work to specification
Working from detailed engineering drawings
Maintaining accuracy, consistency and efficiency throughout production
As a CNC Turner, your experience will include:
Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes
Exposure to Mazak or Fanuc turning controls (training available for the right candidate)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
A methodical, detail-focused approach to machining
A positive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement
