Setter / Operator roles are paid up to £17 per hour, while Programmer-level CNC Turners can earn up to £22 per hour, depending on experience and capability.
As a CNC Turner, you will benefit from:

As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:
Setting and operating CNC turning machines, with programming responsibility where applicable
Programming, editing, and optimising CNC programs using Fanuc controls
Working accurately from detailed engineering drawings
Adjusting offsets, tooling, speeds, and feeds to maintain tight tolerances
Carrying out self-inspection prior to first-off approval
Maintaining 5S standards and adhering to Health and Safety procedures
As a CNC Turner, your experience will include:
Proven experience as a CNC Turner within a precision engineering environment
Strong setting and operating capability
Programming experience on Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes for higher-rate roles
Confident tool setting and offset adjustment
Ability to work accurately to tight tolerances from engineering drawings
Experience with twin turret or twin spindle machines, or 3 and 4 axis machining would be advantageous
