Location: Dorset REMOTE WORK
Rate: £1,200 per assessment (2 days)

Join us in making a meaningful difference to children and young people across Dorset. We are seeking experienced Locum Educational Psychologists to provide high quality statutory advice and support as part of our commitment to children's services.

About Us:

About the Role

As a Locum Educational Psychologist, you will:

Apply evidence informed psychology to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND (0-25)
Help Dorset Council meet its statutory duties for vulnerable children and those with SEND.
Work in a strengths based, person centred way with children, young people, parents and carers.
Collaborate with schools, settings and multi-agency partners to build capacity and promote effective practice.
Manage your own workload and maintain up-to-date professional knowledge grounded in evidence-based psychology.

What will you be doing?

Deliver clear, high quality statutory psychological advice for children and young people aged 0-25.
Work collaboratively with parents/carers, education settings and wider professionals.
Provide practical, child centred, outcome focused recommendations grounded in sound psychological practice.About You:

A UK‑recognised postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology and HCPC registration
Fully remote work
Minimum 3 years' experience working within a Local Authority
Strong analytical, organisational and report‑writing skills
Up‑to‑date DBS clearance and GDPR training
Able to produce 2 anonymous reports at interview stage
