Our client, a reputable automotive retail group in Bolton, is seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead and develop their busy service department. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in the motor trade. The successful individual will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, profitability, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Manage accurate job costing, invoicing, and parts control to maintain profit margins
Implement and maintain high standards of service quality and customer care
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts Advisors
Ensure compliance with vehicle and consumer legislation
Collaborate with brand partners to meet manufacturer standards and objectives as an Aftersales Manager
Monitor and improve service department efficiency, profitability, and operational performanceRequirements:
Previous experience in the retail motor trade at a managerial level
Strong technical knowledge of service department operations
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Knowledge of vehicle and consumer legislation is desirable
Technical or engineering qualifications advantageous
Minimum of two years’ motor trade experience
