Aftersales Manager – Leading Manufacturer-Owned Dealership in Manchester

Our client, a reputable manufacturer-owned dealership in Manchester, is actively seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead their dedicated team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service within a dynamic automotive environment.

Lead and develop the workshop technician team to maximise efficiency, sold hours, and first-time fix rates
Drive customer-facing team performance to optimise upselling opportunities without compromising service quality
Implement and support new digital systems aligned with the dealership’s digital transformation strategy
Support skills development, career progression, and knowledge sharing within the team
Streamline operational processes across the Customer Journey, including Vehicle Health Checks
Ensure compliance with group financial policies, DVSA MOT regulations, and health & safety standards
Contribute significantly to the smooth operation and overall success of the dealership department
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to meet strategic goals
Foster a positive team environment to maintain staff motivation and engagement
Deliver a seamless, efficient service experience consistently to all customersRequirements:

Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager within a busy automotive dealership
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Sound knowledge of manufacturer processes, DVSA regulations, and health & safety standards
Digital proficiency, with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality service
Ability to analyse performance data and develop strategies for continuous improvement
