The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a maintenance engineer to join a large, well-invested site that forms part of a nationally recognised group. This is a high-performing facility with state-of-the-art machinery and an experienced engineering team. You’ll benefit from an excellent rota that allows for regular long weekends off while earning a strong base salary and enjoying long-term job security.
The Role
As a maintenance engineer, you’ll work with a range of heavy-duty automated machinery including:
Large mixers and slicers
Conveyors, silos, and hoppers
Kilns, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems
Your focus will be PPMs, using a tablet system for job tracking. This role places a strong
The Person We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role as a maintenance engineer, you’ll need:
A strong background in factory maintenance within industrial or manufacturing environments
Multiskilled experience, ability to maintain both electrical and mechanical systems.
An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in engineering (ex-Forces welcome)
A proactive attitude and flexibility for overtime and development
This is an ideal role for a maintenance engineer who wants to develop their career in a stable, well-backed facility with real progression and training opportunities.
