If you are an experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity we may have the role for you!

Our client is looking for a confident Maintenance Engineer with a can-do attitude to play a key role in maintaining and improving production performance in their fast-paced manufacturing site where they make some well-known snacks.

As part of the engineering team at this state of the art site you will be working to a PPM schedule, responding to break downs and fault finding on a wide range of high-speed manufacturing machinery including scales, ovens, fryers, flow wrappers, box erectors and much more to ensure minimal down time.

This position would suit somebody with experience within Food manufacturing or FMCG and can confidently fault find, maintain, and improve production machinery, to ensure smooth running and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
Diagnose and fault-find on electrical systems to minimise downtime
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Work closely with production to ensure machinery operates efficiently
Conduct pre and post-maintenance quality checks
Communicate confidently Experience and Qualifications required for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification, Time Served Apprenticeship is a must
Good understanding of Siemens / Allen Bradley
Good understanding of SCADA control systems
Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Good manufacturing practices
Previous experience in Food Manufacturing or FMCG is desirable Salary and Benefits of an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Annual Salary £59,300 plus quarterly bonus (KPI dependent)
23 Days Annual Leave
Quarterly Incentive between £1,000 - £3,000 annually (KPI dependant)
