Pertemps Recruitment is currently seeking a Quality Control Assistant on behalf of our client based in Lincoln. We have opportunities for organised and quality-focused individuals to join their team for a 4-to-5-month temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a busy production environment, supporting quality standards and ensuring products meet customer specifications.
What will I be doing?
Conducting quality inspections on products
Checking products against customer specifications and quality standards
Identifying and reporting any defects or non-conformances
Completing quality control documentation accurately
Ensuring work areas remain clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures
Assisting with general quality assurance duties as directed
What skills and experience do I need?
Previous experience in a quality control, quality assurance, production, or manufacturing environment is desirable
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or inconsistencies
Good organisational and record-keeping skills
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Confident communicating with colleagues across different departments
Basic computer literacy and ability to complete documentation accurately
Reliable, punctual, and able to work long shifts when required
What hours will I be working?
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to finish
Shifts are typically 10 to 12 hours longThis role will be starting in July.
What will I be paid?
£13.00 per hour (first 40 hours worked)
£19.50 per hour (after 40 hours worked)
