Job Title: Production Quality Control Assistant
Location: Corby
Hours: 4 on 4 off (rotating days/nights)
Pay: £13 per hour
Overview
Working in a factory environment, you will test, measure, and monitor product quality, ensuring processes and standards are consistently met while supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
⦁ Carry out routine inspections and tests on materials and products.
⦁ Ensure flexible packaging meets quality standards (seal strength, print quality, barrier properties, dimensions, etc.).
⦁ Record and analyse data, keeping accurate quality documentation.
⦁ Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
⦁ Maintain a tidy QC area and uphold BRCGS standards.
⦁ Report maintenance issues and ensure smooth shift handovers.
⦁ Meet daily production and quality targets.
Skills & Experience
⦁ QC experience desirable but not essential but a good eye for detail will be required
⦁ Basic maths and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
⦁ Strong communication, timekeeping, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
⦁ Proactive, reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team.
⦁ Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
