Salary: £12.71 per hour | 37.5 hours per week
Monday – Wednesday: 7.00am – 5.00pm
Thursday: 7.00am – 4.30pm
Every Friday Off!

Our client is a successful electronics manufacturer looking for a Trainee SMT Machine Operator to join their friendly production team. Full training will be provided, so previous SMT experience is not essential. What matters most is a positive attitude, good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
What will you be doing?
* Learning how to operate specialist SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machinery
* Loading electronic components into production equipment
* Monitoring machine performance and quality
* Carrying out basic production and assembly tasks
* Completing production paperwork accurately
* Working as part of a supportive team to meet customer deadlines
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
What are we looking for?
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Good attention to detail
* Basic computer skills
* Reliable and punctual
* Able to follow processes and instructions
* Comfortable working in a production environment
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ideally not colour blind
* Physically fit as there is a lot of standing
Previous experience in manufacturing, electronics, assembly, retail, hospitality, warehousing, customer service or machine operation would be beneficial, but is not essential.
