Position: Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)

Yew Tree Primary School is seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support . This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

✨ Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent 1:1 support

Support learning, focus, and engagement in the classroom

Implement behaviour and learning strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO

Offer emotional and pastoral support throughout the school day

Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and confidence

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience supporting pupils with ADHD or SEND (desirable)

Be patient, calm, and proactive

Have strong behaviour management skills

Be reliable and committed to a long-term role

Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or have school-based experience
