Salary: £60,000 Per Annum

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Home Manager to lead a well-established nursing and residential care home in Liverpool.

This is a leadership role where you will take full responsibility for the quality of care and overall wellbeing of residents, ensuring they receive safe, compassionate, and person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence, and choice.

You will also lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team of nurses and carers, providing clinical guidance, coaching, and strong operational leadership to ensure the smooth, safe, and effective running of the home.

A high level of professional judgement is required, along with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced care environment while maintaining excellent standards of documentation and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the care home
Ensure high standards of nursing, dementia, and residential care delivery
Oversee and maintain compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
Provide leadership, supervision, and development for care and nursing teams
Ensure personalised care plans are developed and regularly reviewed
Promote dignity, independence, privacy, and choice for all residents
Monitor clinical standards and lead on continuous improvement
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
Act as a key decision-maker in relation to resident care and safeguarding
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive team culture

Required Criteria

Valid NMC registration
Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager
Right to live and work in the UK
Skills and Experience
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience managing multidisciplinary care teams
Ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff
Strong understanding of CQC/regulatory compliance requirements
Ability to anticipate and respond effectively to changing care needs
Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
