Our client, a well-established independent specialist with over 20 years of trading, is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their reputable team in Southampton. This role offers the chance to work within a modern workshop environment, utilising advanced diagnostic systems and tools, while providing excellent career development opportunities in a friendly, family-run business.

Competitive basic salary circa £38,000 with potential for overtime
Monday to Friday working hours, 08:30 – 17:00, with overtime available on Saturdays

Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
Diagnose and repair vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
Conduct vehicle inspections and test drifves to evaluate performance
Complete complex repairs using BMW ISTA diagnostics and Autologic systems
Maintain comprehensive service records and documentation as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures
Provide excellent customer service, presenting a professional imageRequirements:
Minimum City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent experience
Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics, ideally with BMW ISTA knowledge
Full UK driving licence with your own toolkit sufficient for vehicle repairs and maintenance
Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
