Learning Support Worker - Special Primary School - Canning Town, East London
SENCare Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a special primary school that is seeking experienced teaching assistants to support children who have autism, mild and profound needs and SEMH.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 5 days a week - ongoing.
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm
The ideal teaching assistant -
* will have at least 6 months experience supporting students with autism, social emotional mental health difficulties, some profound needs.
* experience supporting students aged 4 - 11
* will provide personal care
* able to follow students ECHPs
* experienced with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching background
* the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
* have a clear DBS registered to the update service - child and adult checked.
