ContrOCC Configuration Specialist

Contract: 3-6 months
Rate: £500 per day (Umbrella)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days per week onsite (flexible)

Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking an experienced ContrOCC Specialist with strong technical and system configuration expertise to support the design, configuration, optimisation, and ongoing improvement of the ContrOCC platform.

The successful candidate will take a hands-on role in reviewing existing system configurations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements to ensure the platform effectively supports operational and financial processes. A key focus will be on configuring and maintaining payment processes, ensuring alignment with business workflows, financial controls, and statutory requirements.

We are looking for a practical system specialist who can work closely with operational teams, finance stakeholders, and system users to ensure the platform is configured correctly, operating efficiently, and delivering accurate outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and optimise the ContrOCC system.
  • Review current system setup and identify configuration gaps, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure payment processes are accurately configured and aligned with operational and financial requirements.
  • Support the integration and alignment of ContrOCC with wider business processes and related systems.
  • Work closely with operational managers, finance teams, and system stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Ensure system configurations comply with relevant statutory and organisational requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practice use of the platform.

Essential Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience configuring and administering ContrOCC.
  • Proven ability to review, troubleshoot, and improve system configurations.
  • Experience working with social care and/or financial payment processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and operational teams.
  • Experience supporting system optimisation and business process improvements.
