BRB Recruit is working with a fantastic children's residential provider in Manchester that is looking to appoint a dedicated and motivated Team Leader to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to delivering outstanding care, supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes, and leading by example within a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the day-to-day running of the home.

* Lead shifts and provide guidance and support to Residential Support Workers.

* Promote positive outcomes for children and young people.

* Ensure safeguarding practices and care standards are maintained at all times.

* Build positive relationships with young people, families, and professionals.

* Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and record keeping.

* Act as a positive role model for both young people and staff.

Requirements

* Previous experience working within a children's residential home.

* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent).

* Full UK driving licence.

* Passionate about supporting children and young people and helping them achieve positive outcomes.

* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

* Able to commit to either a 1 on 2 off or 2 on 4 off shift pattern.

* Good understanding of safeguarding, legislation, and best practice within children's residential services.
