Senior Microsoft Fabric Architect required to support the design and validation of a large-scale enterprise data platform initiative.

The consultant will work closely with the internal architecture team and play a key role in ensuring that the platform is designed according to enterprise-grade scalability,governance, security, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and support the design of the Microsoft Fabric platform architecture.
• Challenge and validate technical decisions and implementation approaches.

Guide the internal architect and stakeholders on best practices related to:

• Scalability
• Governance
• Security
• Performance
• Maintainability

• Help define the platform capabilities and services required by business users
• Identify architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Contribute to the definition of enterprise data engineering standards and operating models
• Ensure alignment between technical implementation and business expectations

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Proven experience in large-scale enterprise data engineering projects.

Strong expertise in:

• Azure data ecosystem
• Data Lake/Lakehouse architectures
• Power BI
• Synapse/Fabric services
• data governance and enterprise data platforms
• Ability to operate both at architecture and technical implementation level.
• Experience advising stakeholders and validating architecture decisions in complex environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
• Knowledge of modern data platform governance models.
• Experience with large user adoption and multi-team delivery environments.

Additional Information:

• EU citizenship (mandatory).
• Estimated assignment duration: 6-9 months
• Mainly remote setup with some onsite presence when required in Luxembourg
