JOB LOCATION: REMOTE/Luxembourg
DURATION: 6-9months + (Possibility for Extensions)
TYPE: Contract
PAY RATE: Euros 550/EUROS PER DAY (Negotiable)
LANGUAGUES: EU PASSPORT HOLDERS ONLY
Key Highlights:
We are opening a temporary to support our BI Squad with a Microsoft Fabric architect.
The duration of the mission is foreseen in between 6 to 9 months.
Remote allowed with possible punctual trips to Luxembourg (I don't think so it will be more than 1 per month if requested)
No need for a PAW laptop, only one laptop to collect in Luxembourg, 2 days to plan for the initial trip
Data analytics, BI, lakehouse, AI-ready data platforms
Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Spark.
Mandatory Requirements:
- EU Citizenship.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus

Overview:
We are currently looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect to support a Business Intelligence (BI) Squad on a temporary assignment. The successful consultant will play a key role in designing and implementing modern, scalable, AI-ready data and analytics platforms using Microsoft Fabric technologies.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior data professional with strong architecture experience across modern BI, analytics, and lakehouse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-scale data analytics and BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric
- Architect modern lakehouse and AI-ready data platforms
- Define best practices around data modelling, governance, scalability, and performance
- Work closely with BI, data engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions
Support integration and optimization of Microsoft Fabric components including:
- Power BI
- OneLake
- Data Factory
- Synapse
- Spark
- Provide architectural guidance for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and reporting solutions
- Support the BI Squad with technical leadership and strategic recommendations
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are followed across the data platform
- Contribute to documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical roadmaps
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience as a Data Architect/Microsoft Fabric Architect
- Proven expertise with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
- Strong knowledge of:
- Power BI
- OneLake
- Microsoft Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Spark/PySpark
- Experience designing lakehouse architectures and modern data platforms
- Strong background in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions
- Experience building scalable and AI-ready data environments
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote international environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience within enterprise or large-scale BI environments
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and modern data governance frameworks
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled analytics platforms
Additional Information:
- Remote work is allowed
- Occasional travel to Luxembourg may be required - Once a Month
- Initial trip to Luxembourg required to collect laptop/equipment
- Long-term extension possibility depending on project needs
