Stores & Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the location, storage, allocation, and movement of all parts and products to fulfil internal and external customer orders and outgoing shipments.

* Receive components and materials from customers and suppliers, verifying product type, quantity, and condition against delivery documentation.

* Conduct visual quality inspections of all incoming and outgoing goods to ensure compliance with company standards.

* Ensure all deliveries are correctly labelled, accurately counted, and supported by the appropriate documentation and records.

* Kit and issue components and materials to the shop floor in accordance with job cards and production schedules.

* Complete goods-inwards documentation checks and ensure all deliveries are accepted into stock accurately.

* Verify that all received stock and subcontracted work is free from damage, meets required quality standards, and is complete.

* Monitor inventory levels and promptly notify the Procurement Department of low stock levels or shortages requiring replenishment.

* Prepare, package, and dispatch products securely, ensuring the selected delivery method meets customer requirements.

* Maintain accurate stock records and ensure efficient organisation of the stores area.

* Support the delivery and collection of products and materials using internal and external transport services as required.

* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment, ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and housekeeping standards.

* Carry out any additional duties necessary to support the effective operation of the department and wider business.

Compliance & Standards

* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements.

* Comply with the requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS), including:

* ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems

* ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the achievement of company quality and safety objectives
