About the Company

Our client is a long-established, award-winning wholesale distributor supplying trade customers across the UK. With decades of success behind them, they have built an outstanding reputation for customer service, product quality and long-term partnerships.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to strengthen their sales team with an ambitious and target-driven Sales Account Manager.

The Opportunity

This is a proactive account management role where you'll manage an established portfolio of trade customers while identifying opportunities to grow sales and increase revenue.

You'll be responsible for:

✔ Managing and developing existing customer accounts
✔ Proactively contacting customers to generate orders
✔ Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
✔ Re-engaging dormant accounts
✔ Building long-term customer relationships
✔ Achieving and exceeding weekly and monthly sales targets

This is not a passive account management role. Success comes from picking up the phone, creating opportunities and driving revenue growth.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Previous sales experience within a target-driven environment

Confidence selling over the phone

*

A proven track record of achieving KPIs and sales targets

*

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

*

Self-motivation, resilience and a positive attitude

Desirable

*

B2B sales experience

*

Wholesale or distribution sector experience

*

Account management experience
