We're looking for an enthusiastic, patient, and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly secondary school team in Colchester and support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
No two days are the same! One moment you'll be helping a student build confidence in the classroom, the next you'll be celebrating a breakthrough achievement, supporting social development, or helping a young person discover their strengths.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting students with a range of SEN needs both in and out of the classroom
Working alongside teachers to create an inclusive learning environment
Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive engagement
Building meaningful relationships with students and helping them achieve their potential
Providing emotional and academic support where needed
We're looking for someone who:
Has a positive, can-do attitude
Is patient, resilient, and compassionate
Enjoys working with young people and making a difference
Can remain calm under pressure
Has experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
