Hereford £26,000-£29,000 per annum (pro rata)

I am recruiting a diligent and accurate Payroll Administrator to join the Finance function of a rapidly evolving business.This opportunity is ideal for an experienced payroll professional seeking reduced hours while still playing a key role in a multi‑entity payroll operation. The role will be office‑based initially, with the option to work up to 2 days per week from home once fully trained.This is a position where your judgement, discretion, and analytical strength will be relied upon daily. You'll work with autonomy, influence, and the confidence of senior stakeholders.

What you'll be responsible for

Multi‑cycle payroll processing - weekly, fortnightly, and monthly runs, including mileage and expenses
Payroll accuracy & compliance - ensuring every figure aligns with legislation
Employee payroll support - acting as the go‑to expert for payroll queries
Finance team collaboration - providing cover and contributing to continuous improvementWhat you'll bring

Minimum 2 years' payroll experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Exceptional organisational ability
A calm, confident approach to deadlines
The ability to work autonomously and flexibly
Natural relationship‑building skills
