Working closely with the Premises & Compliance Manager, you'll help ensure our sites remain safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. From planned maintenance and repairs to health and safety compliance and site improvements, you'll play a key role in maintaining high-quality facilities for staff and students.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across multiple sites
Performing building repairs, refurbishments, and grounds maintenance
Supporting health and safety compliance, including fire alarm testing and legionella management
Recording maintenance and compliance activities using our CAFM system
Assisting with site development projects and facility improvements
Helping maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitorsWhat We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is practical, reliable, and takes ownership of their work.
You'll ideally have:
Experience in general building maintenance, facilities, or site management
Skills in electrics, plumbing, construction, or a related trade
Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
Experience carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance
Basic IT skills and confidence using digital systems
Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach
The ability to communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and stakeholders at all levelsAbout the Organisation
