Blocktech Mep are looking on behalf of their client for a permenant office administrator to work in a small team delivering and taking the lead in general office duties.

The client is a busy service company trading for over 30 years carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance repairs in hospitals, care homes and the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will have the ability and want to take some responsibilty, lead and drive the office.

General duties for the role include:

* Liaise with customers on the phone and in person and arrange engineer’s call outs onto database

* Attend to general enquires

* Create sales invoices, Enter purchase orders and Invoices

* Chase payment on a regular basis

* Stock Management

* Bookkeeping skills

* Organise engineer’s daily jobs from the database

* Go through engineer’s worksheets with engineers on a daily basis

* Order parts and stock management

* Assist in stock management

* Carry out fire logs on a weekly basis

* Follow up any sales queries and send quotations accordingly

Note: This is not a comprehensive list and you need to be prepared to carry out other tasks that may be required of you by the company

Personal Atributes Required for Successful Candidate:

* The ability to work well under pressure and be able to multi task.

* They will be trained in the specifics of the job and must be able to listen well and respond to instruction.

* Excellent organisational skills, and confidence in liaising with engineers, customers and suppliers. Experience in a fast paced office environment.

* Knowledge of a CRM database, Excel, Microsoft Word, Xero an advantage but specific training will be given.

* We use a CRM for all our stock and call handling, full training provided but this would ideally suited to someone with a good IT skill set who is used to working with multiple platforms

In return you will receive:

Permanent Role

Monday to Friday (Office Based)

8:30 am to 17:00

28 Days Holiday (Including Bank Holidays)

30,000 to 32,500 Annual Salary (Depending on Experience)
