The Role
As a Lecturer in English, you will be part of a supportive curriculum team delivering English GCSE and Functional Skills to learners aged 16–19 on study programmes. You will contribute to the planning, delivery and development of learning, while providing effective academic and pastoral support to students. You will take responsibility for learner progress, attendance and achievement, alongside the associated course administration, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning at all times.

We are looking for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher with experience of working in a further education environment and supporting learners aged 14–19. You will have strong, up-to-date subject knowledge and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality teaching. Organised and proactive, you will manage administrative responsibilities effectively and communicate confidently with learners, colleagues and other stakeholders, supporting the personal and professional development of young people
