Our client, a reputable main dealership in Milton Keynes, is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to develop their career within a modern, high-volume dealership environment, working with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-led training programmes. The ideal individual will be committed to delivering quality workmanship while maintaining high standards of productivity and customer satisfaction.
Key Benefits:
Competitive basic salary of £37,250, with performance-based bonus earning potential up to £45,250
OTE (On Target Earnings) of up to £50,100
25 days’ annual holiday, plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service)

Recognition and performance-related rewardsMain Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repair work across a wide variety of vehicles
Diagnose faults using manufacturer-approved diagnostic tools
Complete warranty repairs and servicing to the highest standards
Undertake tasks including oil services, cambelt replacements, and general mechanical repairs
Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with dealership standards
Maintain accurate job records and ensure efficient workflow
Support team with technical expertise and ensure high levels of customer satisfactionRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Completed Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician within a workshop environment
Confident working on servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
Strong team player with a professional and process-driven mindset
MOT licence is advantageous, but not essential (training provided if required)
Keen to learn and grow through manufacturer accreditation, including EV/hybrid training pathways
