Our client is a well‑established manufacturing business known for quality, precision, and excellent customer service. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a detail‑driven Data Entry Clerk to join their operations team and support the smooth running of production, logistics, and administrative processes.
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely input of operational data across production, stock control, and customer orders. You’ll work closely with the manufacturing, warehouse, and customer service teams to maintain up‑to‑date records and support efficient workflow.
Reporting to the Office Manager, duties to include:
* Enter production data, stock movements, and order information into internal systems
* Maintain accurate digital and paper records
* Update spreadsheets, databases, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sage, Dynamics)
* Check data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information
* Liaise with production and warehouse teams to verify information
* Generate basic reports for supervisors and management
* Support administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document control
* Ensure compliance with company data standards and GDPR requirements
As an ideal candidate you will have a strong attention to detail, confident using Microsoft Excel & data entry software and experience in manufacturing, logistics, administration or a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments is also essential together with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
